Certifications

COBAR S.p.A. has embarked on a mission of providing quality work, through the establishment, application and active maintenance of a certification system that follows the international UNI EN ISO 9000 standard: the aim is to create a management toolkit to systematically and continuously ensure top-of-the-line performance in the Company’s field of operation. This conduct has earned Cobar the foremost corporate quality certifications according to the following international standards: UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015, UNI EN ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO/IEC 27001:2013, ISO 39001:2012, ELOT ISO 37001:2017, SA 8000:2014 No. TSA-21042003 and UNI EN ISO 10005:2018 No. OMS-09188136-20. These certifications apply to the following areas of expertise: restoration of protected immovable property, archaeological excavations, installation of electrical, water and thermal systems, road construction and maintenance, construction of irrigation systems, operating and maintaining and heat pump thermal systems, maintenance of electrical, water, and fire-fighting systems, construction and maintenance of buildings for civil purposes (EA28).

The Company’s development and expansion, the expertise and know-how acquired in the field, the top-level professionals employed in all activities have allowed COBAR S.p.A. to be awarded, from the SOA CONSULT Certification Body, the qualification certificate for the completion of public works (S.O.A.), as per art. 61 of the D.P.R. 207/2010, regarding the design process and construction services provided for the following categories:

  • OG01: civil and industrial buildings
  • OG02: restoration and maintenance of immovable property protected under cultural and environmental heritage law
  • OG03: roads, highways, bridges, viaducts, railways, tramways, undergrounds, funicular railways, airport runways, and all related additional works;
  • OG04: works of art conserved underground
  • OG06: water management systems (aqueducts, gas pipelines, irrigation and waste disposal works);
  • OG09: power plants
  • OG10: high/medium voltage AC and DC power transformation distribution plants, with additional public lighting installations
  • OG11: technological development plants
  • OS1: earthworks
  • OS4: electromechanical conveyor systems
  • OS5: pneumatic and anti-intrusion systems
  • OS6: wooden, plastic, metal and glass finishes for buildings designed for diverse purposes
  • OS7:  finishes for buildings designed for construction and technical purposes
  • OS21: specific structural works
  • OS22: water treatment and purification plants
  • OS23: demolition services
  • OS24: urban greening and equipment
  • OS25: archaeological excavations
  • OS27: traction power plants
  • OS29: railway construction
  • OS2-A: decorated surfaces of immovable cultural heritage sites and movable state property of historical, artistic, archaeological and ethno-anthropological significance

The Italian Competition Authority has awarded COBAR Spa the score of 3 stars ( ★ ★ ★ ) on its Legality Rating. Furthermore, the Company is included in the Whitelist of construction companies held by the Prefettura in Bari and by  the Register of the Ministry of Interior – Counter-Crime and  Earthquake Prevention Mission Division- L’Aquila Special Division.

Moreover, the company is registered within Confindustria’s  network and is officially licensed for industrial plants as per D.M. 37/2008 for the exercise of the activities listed under provisions A, B, C, D, E, F, G.

COBAR S.p.A. is listed in the Register of Trusted Companies held by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, in the Superintendency of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape branch, for which the Company has carried out several restoration and renovation works on immovable property of historical and artistic interest (churches, convents, castles, etc.). COBAR S.p.A. is included in the Prefettura of Bari's register, known as the "Whitelist", of suppliers and service providers not exposed to risks of infiltration by mafias and organised crime, under Article 1 paragraphs 1 from 53 to 57, Bill 190/2012 and DPCM (Decree by the Prime Minister) 18/04/2013. Starting in 2011, COBAR S.p.A. has been a member of the Consorzio Stabile ReseArch S.C. a r.l., a shared network of companies created in compliance with regulations, which allows COBAR S.p.A., as the undertaking indicated by the Consortium itself within a tender offer (according to the Public Procurement Code, art. 36, par. 5), to participate in tender offers for large tender amounts, for diverse categories and for higher tender classes than the Company could independently access.
