The intervention is geared towards the repurposing of the pneumology ward, inside the “Azienda Ospedaliera Policlinico-Consorziale” complex in Bari, to accommodate the new psychiatric ward. The repurposing intervention, from a functional and legal standpoint, focuses on the mezzanine and the second floor, while optimising the structure for the use of staff and patients. The choice of top-of-the-line construction materials and insulation ensures durability over time and optimal conditions in terms of hygiene and cleanliness in the building.
