The covid hospital in Fiera del Levante in Bari will be built by Cobar Spa in cooperation with Item Oxygen Srl

Cobar SpA, in partnership with Item Oxygen Srl has won the tender offer for the construction of a temporary structure, with prefabricated modules, of 160 beds for intensive and sub-intensive care at the Fiera del Levante in Bari, to support the regional network of Covid-19 prevention facilities.

The structure will be designed to accommodate numerous intensive care beds to relieve the burden on hospitals in Apulia, due to the difficulties of massive hospitalization of patients suffering from Covid.

The tender offer, managed by the central purchasing division Empulia of Innovapuglia, details the construction of three areas through the use of prefabricated structures. The regional manager of the Civil Protection Section, Mario Lerario, expresses his gratitude to the Ente Autonomo Fiera del Levante and the Nuova Fiera del Levante for the support to the initiative.

Mr. Vito Barozzi, manager of Cobar Spa, is very aware of the urgency and the great social importance of this work. He has stated that he will focus all the company’s resources to ensure the timely completion of this important hospital structure.
